Funding programs worth a look
- Ontario Together Trade Fund (OTTF) — Ontario grants or loans, typically 10–20% of eligible costs up to $5 million (up to 75% only for projects with exceptional benefit to Ontario). For Ontario for-profit businesses with at least 3 years of financial statements, at least 5 full-time-equivalent employees, a project of at least $200,000, and impact from U.S. tariffs. Continuous intake since April 23, 2025; a mandatory online self-assessment comes first. Eligibility was expanded in September 2026 to more tariff-hit exports. Program page
